Jimmy McCaclin marc bumping and grinding during the Marc Shows

*MP3 -Jimmy McCacklin "The Walk" 2:26

Ok what does Jimmy have to do with Marc Bolan you ask? Well just give this song a listen. We all know Marc (admittingly so) "Borrowed" riffs from some of the Old Blues artists He is heard on "A.W.A.T.S. admiting to Roy Wood that he knicked the "Jeepster" riff off a Howling Wolf record. Am I letting you hear this to make Marc look bad ....Not at all Marc was open about his influences & his "Borrowing" I must say that this one took me by complete surprise, does it tarnish Marc's "Beltane Walk" for me, not at all.I initially was a bit sad to think that "Riff" that "Beat" that I loved so much of Marc's song was not even his but Marc added his own Magic to the Riff that made it his. It adds a nice piece of History to one of my Favorite Bolan tracks (Not sure Jimmy McCacklin would agree*s)
This song "The Walk" reached #7 in 1958 and from what I was told Marc at least makes a Nod to Jimmy's song by calling the his "Beltane WALK"
