Marc Bolan
Sound files and much more are also located on Romany Stew's Great audio page & for a huge selection of T.Rex Real Audios sounds try "Interstella Paul's" fanatstic "Boogie On" site.
That doesn't mean it is isn't a great Bolan track to add to the list of our "Bit" more obscure Bolan tracks with pure Bolan magic Lyrics (below)
Some history on the song. It was one of the songs earmarked for release on the Simon Napier-Bell LP "Hard on Love" (That Marc got a court to block)
After Marc's passing it was than released on the now re-titled "The Beginning of Doves" CD. Marc had this song when he joined John's Children and they also recorded it.
You will notice towards the end of the song there is a slight break switching to a stereo sound, this I've been told was a splicing of the recording that was done with John's Children.
Sara Crazy Child
Written by Marc Bolan
Sara Crazy Child is devouring all the street
With her pastel tortured dress
And her seductive bongo beat
Her skin's wild like the olives
And her Body's bitter sweet
Still she's only just thirteen
And she's forgotten how to dream
Her brother the Juke Box King
With his venom mouthy sting
And his knowledge twisted hair
And his 1920's stare
He lives beneath the roadway
In a Minotaur's lair
In summer he's a young boy
But in winter he's a bear
Broken dusty mother
Her face melted just like wax
Her once gazelle like features
Bloodied by the age axe
Sepia picture postcard
Of the twosome of their home
Soulessly they submitted to
The guillotine of their own
