-Morrissey & Bowie "Cosmic Dancer" 3:30

Morrissey recorded this duet with Bowie in 1991 prior to their ill fated Tour together. The best quality we could find as it was recorded from the audience, Below is some info from the "proper" Morrissey Mp3 on the site of his solo cover of "Cosmic Dancer"

"Well, T Rex were very special to me because they were the first group I saw in '72. So... very passionate moment for me. I was 12 and a half I think at the time which is quite young to see somebody like that because he was quite wild in his own way.

In a quote from "Smiths" guitarist and co-writer Johnny Marr discussed Marc's influence on the band

"The influence of T-Rex is very profound on certain songs of The Smiths I.e. "Panic" and "Shoplifters". Morrissey was himself also mad about Bolan. When we wrote "Panic" he was obsessed with "Metal Guru" and wanted to sing in the same style. He didn't stop singing it in an attempt to modify the words of "Panic" to fit the exact rhythm of "Metal Guru".
